Thank you Will Friedwald for an intelligent appraisal of, "Cyrus Plays Elvis", news of which is appearing on Elvis Presley Forums.

My modern Jazz loving brother -in -law and I in the 50s were often to be heard attacking each other's taste in music. But we both evolved, I learnt to appreciate the wonfderful music of Ludwig Van Beethoven and he agreed Elvis's "It's Now or Never" and "Love letters" were fine performances for a Rock 'n' Roller.

I like Dave Brubeck's popular stuff and can appreciate more Jazz these days. So it's nice to see Elvis being appreciated as a pioneer.
