Yes, History will surely judge the performance of Donald Rumsfeld. As one of the leading Neo-Cons along with Dick Cheney who orchestrated the on-going disaster that is Iraq he will sadly only be judged by history instead of being held accountable along with the rest of the Bush cabinet for their criminal behavior and total disdain for what this country used to stand for thruout the world. His callous disregard for the lives of the Iraq civilians who have been killed by the score by his "techno-military" air campaign on neighborhoods thruout Iraq. Often killing a dozen innocents in the hopes of getting a few Iraqi's who will do anything to get america out of their country. His use of Phosphorous on the citizens, of uranium enriched shells & cluster bomblets which leave the promise of more death to the children who are unfortunate to come in contact with their residue.. One could go on and on , I'm only sorry that Rummy, Cheney, Bush, all of them, won't be ever held accountable in any meaningful way but instead will beable to continue their miserable lives in luxury reaping the benefits of their tenure in goverment.
