Giuliani, Romney Outshine Thompson in GOP Debate

Submitted by zalman sobilefsky, Oct 10, 2007 08:07

it's tough to appeal to the base of the republican party after running a campaign for gov in MA, being a two-term drag queen mayor of new york, having 5 sons who never served in the military while you waive the flag and look for countries to bomb, and carrying on an affair in Gracie Mansion.
Yet these 2 schmendricks are leading the more appropriate conservative candidates - the backwoods, bible thumpers who go to church when they're home in places like tennessee, but hang with lobbyists in DC; the anti-bush warmongers; the anti-immigration nativists; and the closet anti-semites who want to run against barbara boxer and dianne feinstein.

surely, giulian and romney need to adopt new and more varied forms of hypocrisy; their old ones are getting stale.
