I have written over 500 show tunes myself for the likes of Mitchum and Handel. The great barrier between rock and jazz is not just one of rhythm, harmony, and instrumentation, but the concept of interpretation.

I have had spagetti five times at our house this week. Does that impact the show tunes that I am writing now? You bet it does.
