NL Teams Can't Touch the Talent of the AL

Submitted by Jon, Oct 10, 2007 10:14

There's a reason no team in the NL won 90 games this season, and it's called parity. If all you look at is wins, then of course the talent levels look different. It's because the bad teams in the AL are so much worse than the bad teams in the NL. Look instead at some rate stats like team OPS or ERA and rewrite this in a way that makes sense. Oh, and the vaunted New York teams were a collective 0-6 against the Rockies this year.
