Why don't they just let football be football. If the defending team wants to call time out let them but not give advance knotice the way they do now. Let em wait as long as they want but if the ref ignores a last minite bid for a time out then so what. That is the way it used to be and it worked fine. Let me guess this is another tuck rule call (remember the fumble that isn't a fumble) only this time we are protecting who??
