Strife Looms Between America, Canada Over Route

Submitted by ItMatters, Oct 11, 2007 15:11

this is very intersting story. choc full of intriguing things. Will Canada stand its ground or get pumelled by US and Euro special itnerests? Or will they become the world's new superpower? Oh, and I love the little parting shot in the story about Russia planting their flag 70 kazillion leagues under the sea. Ooh-ooh, wait, wait...and there's even talk about the area having 25% of the world's new oil discoveries. Ok, melting polar regions, thousands of ships passing through, oops, super major oil spill, kill the polar bears and other creatures, drill for oil, oil prices plummet, GM and Ford come out with 3 mpg Hummer eaters. Talk about progress.
