American forces are in Iraq for one reason and one reason only, to secure American access to Iraqi oil. Only the most self-deluded still believes the phony Iragi liberation smokescreen belched out by the White House. The people of Iraq want us out. The American people want us out. The world over and our own troops in Iraq want us out but Bush and his war profiteering buddies continue to sacrifice American lives and our reputation in the world for the sake of their fortunes. Maybe Bush is honest when he says that God talks to him and wants him to continue the war against the people of Iraq. But the Bible says beware the devil who appears as an angel of light. Beware false prophets, and it also says by their fruit you shall know them. From this vantage point the fruit looks rotten through and through.
