Imagining A War With Iran
in response to reader comment: Losing an aircraft carrier? Maybe two?

Iran's whole conventional military and defense cabalities would be wiped out in a matter of days not to mention their whole civilian infustructure. While a general opinion would be that the countries westernized population would stand behind there government out of nationlistic pride the reality is Iran cannot win and their people know this so realilty is since they would be already at war they would take the opportunity to help remove the fanatic goverenment that has taken hold of their country(after the mullahs are deposed im sure the Us would happily agree and help the new secular regime attain nuclear energy). The only retalation that Iran could do would be to send more suicide bombers and mobilize more of their militias in Iraq which they ar e already doing and send their soliders into Iraq and Afghanistan which would be more pressure on Us forces their but at the same time weaken themselves well, lets not forget not every Iraq or Afghani will side with Iran.
