I have been reading different articles regarding the young man gunned down and how activists are getting in the limelight of this mans untimely demise. What I don't understand is that everyone is looking at the police as if they are the criminals. Mr. Bell and his friends come not without drug and gun criminal backgrounds and form a year ago or futher back but recently. If Mr. Bell was trying to get his life in order for his fiance' and children then why was his waiting till now. In 2003 & 2004 Mr. Bell had charges of possession of weapon & Drugs. twice in 2006 he had drug charges.on for trying to sell cocaine and as recently as a few weeks beofre his death he had criminal possession of marijuana. Not only do you find this out but people such as the great Rev. Al Sharpton, and I say that loosely, also needs to look at the fact that beofre there was any gunshots, Mr. Bell tried to kill a police officer with his car and flee the scene. I see it that way because I don't think he would have rammed the van twice if he wasn't trying to kill a law enfocement officer and flee. Mr. Bell was goign to try out for babseball, well its kinda hard to try out for major or minor leagues when you are too wrapped up in dealing with drug and weapons charges. Mr. Bell is not innocent in this and I am sick and tired of people acting as if he was innocently killed in the crossfire. He was killed due to his attemted murder of a law enforcement officer and attemted wanton endangerment of several others when he rammed tihe police van not once but twice. But we don't tell how this officers were there trying to keep crime off the streets. We don't tell how good of officers the have been, what kind of family men they are, or who they might leave behind if someone like Mr. Bell and his criminal buddies run them down, or shot them in the line of duty protecting people such as Mr. Bells children, fiance' and other family members. If Mr. Bell was such an upstanding father, husband to be, son, family memeber then tell me this. Why? on earth was he celebrating his last day of freedom as a single an in such a crime reported club, and until 4 a.m. I would think that his celebration could have been cut to oh lets see 2-3 hours. He called his friends and father at 9 p.m. and lets just say they didn't get together till 10p.m. then leaving at 12 or 1a.m. would be plenty of time for celebration. But no, Mr. Bell and his friends hung out till 4 a.m. and I'm sure they weren't dinking, you think? so lets say hours of drinking in a crime known club, with god only knows who was there. moght cause for trouble. As I have read several of Mr. Bells friends have been arrested since then, or at least people he has known to hang around on many different serious charges, but oh NYPD you better leave them alone cause you will be accused of something there too. But then if you do leave them alone, then those such as Mr. Bells fiance' and his other family members will cut you down int he media and with whomever else they can get on their side for not cleaning their streets of crime. That is whta the NYPD was doing that night, clearign the streets of crime, the kind of crime that Mr. Bell and his associates have been involved in for years, not weeks, but years. Mr. Bell was an unwed father, a drug dealer, ( drug dealers sell right?) he was a gun packing criminal, nothing more, nothing less and to make him any more than he is then you might as well set all the drug dealers, rapist, killers, gun dealers free and put all the police in jail. If that was the case would the Rev. Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and the likes be on their soapbox? To Rev. Al Sharpton and others like him I ask why are you trying to cause more heartache and unstability in such communities, as a man or men of God you are suppose to promote family, forgiveness, stability, goodness. You are doing just the opposite, you want these communities to riot and cause destruction, and then you can go in and try to calm things down and make yourselves look good. Who gets hurt in the long run, those people in communities like these and others in America that's who. While you live in your nice homes, collect big salaries in the name of your cause, and you create such hatred you all should be ashamed, SHAME!!!!! I say. GOD doesn't like blasphme and that's what you are doing. You sicken most of the people in America believe it or not. I am truly sorry for what has happened to Mr. Bell, I am mostly truly sorry for his children. Because they will be taught that police are bad, police killed their daddy, they won't be taught that with crime comes consequences, and with attempted murder comes sometimes death. The fourth man I believe was his father unless someone can tell that he left way before hand, after all didn't WIlliam Bell go with his some and two friends, making the fourth man. I hope that instead of rioting and destroying your own community and vision of your children that those in this community will stand up and help rid the streets of crime or this will never stop. And the white people or the so called white police will be blammed for the ignorance that is caused by these such actions, the actions of criminals.
