"Gad! Do you know what it means if we win this conflict! Everyone we'll know we were just blowing smoke up their skirts, trying to sabotage our own nation's efforts at destroying terrorism just for our own political gain!

"Quick, let's sabotage every relationship with our Middle Eastern partners that we can! I know! Let's accuse a nation that has been a stauch ally for more than sixty years of a hideous crime that took place before the grandparents of the current generation were even born!"

I wonder if the electorate is listening? I know the Republicans aren't much these days, but the Dems ought to be turned out in droves just as a little lesson for them in humility.
