What is Pipes really afraid of? I bet it is that a school with a focus on Arab culture and history could lead to Americans finding out the truth about Mideast history and the ethnic cleansing of Palestine.

As Israeli historian Ilan Pappe notes in his thoroughly researched book on the subject, the Jews of Palestine conducted a heinous crime in forcibly removing the Arab residents of Palestine (Christians and Muslims alike). The truth cannot be hidden forever and red herrings such as this hand-wringing over a school will only alert the public to the true nature of this vitriol.
