After reading some good reviews, I made reservations for dinner one night at 5:30 pm. We were seated at a tiny cramped table in the bar section, not in the dining area despite all the empty tables. When I got home, there were 2 messages from the restaurant left earlier in the day, threatening to cancel my reservation unless I called back immediately. When I made the reservations, I was never asked to call back to confirm! It appears that I was "punished" by a power-tripping mgmt for not calling back. The total lack of respect, by a restaurant that's new & not even that well established, is bewildering. The food is OK, but overshadowed by my bad experience. Needless to say, I won't be back. There are so many other great restaurants in NY - no reason to go to one that treats its diners poorly.
