Clinton knows the purpose of the resolution on Iran: to give the White House Congressional cover for its next war, against Iran. Her supporters can parse and triangulate all they want, but if Clinton is shifting to "general election" mode, who is she pandering to? How many Democrats and Independents are lusting to go to war with Iran? Not many, I'm guessing. MOST of us learned from the cowardice of Congress on Iraq and aren't itching to repeat it by letting Bush justify yet another war (especially since he hasn't won the two he's already got going)
