Dear Mr. Steyn:

Thank you and Peter Robinson for placing our own ignorance in front of our faces...We have become increasingly fearful--and thus would rather back-peddle than move forward. Along with such psychology--goes the phenomenon of politics first--before life, liberty and concern for the generations whom we leave behind.

Although your essay does not mention the congressional "resolution" against our friends, the Turks; that idiocy is indicative of the stupidity we now adhere to. (The ancient Romans were tyrants, too, who placed innocent Christians in the arena, to be slaughtered as "gladiators", giving the people a .."sport" to attend and applaud...Where are you, congressmen and women--as to such outrage?)
