Do you people honestly think that Americans are complete morons? Your supply side nonsense managed to QUADRUPLE the natonal debt during the Reagan years. And Bush's tax cuts caused reciepts to plummet for years.
Meanwhile, of course, the Clinton tax INCREASE did nothing to reduce tax reciepts (as would be predicted if we were on the right side of the Laffer curve), but they did lead to a balanced budget AND the greatest economic expansion in our history.
