Republicans used to be the limited government, fiscally and socially conservative, nationalistic and Pro-America party.
They have no morphed into a big government, fiscally and socially liberal, globalist/internationalist party which barely hides its contempt for America and Americans. (See immigration.)
I'm not supporting the party in its new identity and I suspect I'm far from alone. Going on about tax cuts is not going to change peoples minds.
"It was one of Reagan's greatest achievements that he moved the Republican Party into the pro-immigration camp."
This is revisionist history worth of a Holocaust denier.
"Growth requires the free movement of goods, capital, and labor."
America is the only open borders country in the world. It's economic growth is no better than that of the other industrialized countries. So they must not know that the free movement of labor (never mentioned by Smith, Hayek, Friedman, or any other economist) is essential for a growing economy. You people are economically illiterate.
