Saudi Arabia's Friendship - or Oil?

Submitted by Hamad S Alomar, Oct 18, 2007 11:55

A sheer invitation to the US to invade another UN-member country. I just wonder he could be held liable by both the US and Saudi governments for such an encouragement of aggression. The message Youssef Ibrahim is passing is that the US is a barbaric nation that can use it's military to get any thing it can not afford to buy.

If the US government to follow Youssef Ibrahim's advise, then the US will invade Colombia if the Coffee prices become high and will invade India if the cost of IT specialist become high and will invade Japan if the Toyota Lexus reach hundred thousand US dollars !!.

In this episode, Youssef Ibrahim become an oil expert and he thinks Saudi Arabia existed on earth only to supply America with oil. I am sure many knowledgeable politicians and oil experts will laugh on Yousseff Ibrahim's ignorance when they read this ( if they do, since I doubt it his name is appealing or known ).

It seems you (Youssef Ibrahim ) are not following or reading the regions development. For your information neither America nor the West is protecting or has protected Saudi Arabia. They are protecting their interest in the region which makes sense. For your bad luck, their interest intersected with ours so it is a win-win deal.

Saudi Arabia pays in full and cash for every weapon or training it gets. On the contrary, Saudi Arabia has paid huge amount of money to prevent Saddam from threatening the US interest, as it financed most of Kuwait liberation activities. For your information the five hundred million Americans who came to Saudi Arabia are great people who, unlike you, believe in principals and world order.

Besides Saudi Arabia is not the only oil producing country. There are others. Is the US going to invade their " eastern Province " as well ? People like Youssef Ibrahim have driven the US to the unfortunate fate in Iraq and will try to fool the US in other troubles because it serves their 'hidden agenda ".

If there is any country to be invaded ( based on the Iraq scenario ) it should be the country which is refusing to implement the UN resolutions for forty years and is holding the whole world from achieving peace and is having huge amount of nuclear weapons which could destroy the whole world, which is Israel, which you can not dare say.
