Of course illegal aliens will think twice about getting a drivers license. They are not stupid. They don't want to be in a data base that gets checked for all sorts of reasons from homeland security to determining the number of middle aged people having accidents. It would be far too easy to link it to the SSA, where their stolen SS Numbers would raise a red flag. Besides, a license means license plates, and registration, and insurance. Why would they pay any of this. They ignore it now. And in DIP (Democratic Illegal Party, formerly known as the Democratic Party) states, they get away with serious driving offenses without having to worry about being deported.

Of course if means that Americans all over the country have to go and get a passport; a license is no longer good enough for proof of legal residency. But then that is why the Democratic Party transformed into DIP, it's policies perfer illegals over Americans.
