I certainly hope that if the day ever comes when a place like Iran drops a few bombs on Israel's atomic facilities that the US has a UN rep as strong as Jeane Kirkpatrick to handle the "diplomatic niceties."
Or at least as strong as Ambassador Moynihan, whose handling of the diplomatic niceties after the Indonesian invasion of East Timor and the Moroccan invasion of Western Sahara ushered in several decades of gross abuses of international law.
