Explain this to me like I am three years old: this is a nation with known human rights violations, known quality control problems (banking or no) a market system with fewer checks and balances than most (read: China has never had an Industrial Age prior to now, hasn't had to learn the lessons of speculative frenzies/fiascos like the ones in '29 and '87, etc.) and perhaps worst of all, the government in this instance has a great deal of direct control over the businesses themselves (if it goes to h3ll the effects on the stability of the nation and its government could be monstrous for it, for us, and East Asia as a whole.) And people still want to invest?!! Huh??!!
