I was able to read LONE SURVIVOR and was particularly struck by Lieutenant Murphy's courage and level-headedness under fire, with the concern for his men above that of his life or his personal safety.

At least Leading Petty Officer Marcus Luttrell survived to tell of Lt. Murphy's actions--above and beyond the call of duty.

We of the U. S. Army Special Forces Association salute Lieutenant Murphy and his men.
