One may negotiate even with a toughest adversary as long as he stays to the slightest extent open to reason. But one does not negotiate with a raged dog. One destroys him. And Iran has today all aspects of a raged dog. Thus, the issue is not political, but strategic. The question is not IF to strike, but WHEN and HOW BEST to strike, to be sure to destroy and to avoid the bites. Yet, negotiations may be useful. To muddle the foe, to lure him into more conceit, to make him underestimate us and to make our blow, when it comes from the blue sky, shatter him to ruins.
