I'm just wondering if this is the same Bruce Bennett whose my former apt./mate in a rent strike bldg. in pre-gentrification Alphabet City. I've been trying to get in touch with him re: movie dialogue for years and have been unsuccessful. If this is indeed the same Brucie I know, the irony of seeing his byline under "State of the Art-house" (hyphen inappropriate, two caps inappropriate) is funny because he got angry when Jonathan Rosenbaum used the same phrase to describe the marketing of Euroflix in the 1950's when we attended a filmfest screening a few years back, apparently thinking Rosenbaum thought the phrase referred to art itself as opposed to the urbanist middlebrow movie peddling of that era.
