Series Has the Makings of a Classic

I'm stunned. Marchman actually writes an objective appraisal of the Rockies? No discussion about what role luck will play if the Rockies actually win the World Series? Perhaps it's because their opponents are the Boston Red Sox, no favorite to anyone from New York. Unlike your previous column in which you place far more emphasis on "luck," this piece strikes the right chord, despite the fact that you give too little credit to the Rockies' pitching and hitting. I also expect that this will be an exciting World Series, and I would hope that the Rockies' record-setting defense will surpass the woeful displays of the ALCS, by both the Red Sox and the Indians.
