Landis and Rickles Insult the World

i'm so looking forward to seeing any documentary about the comic genius rickles, even if it was directed by a rabid skunk, but the revisionism about landis' work is abhorrent puff piece crapola. he's one of the guys who destroyed nuance and creativity in powderpumped reagany hollywood after the 1960's and 1970's, turning it into a money machine with no heart, soul or mirth. defend stallone or pia zadora if you will, but screw landis while blessing him if he persists in a relatively benign second career as a docudude. he messed up both comedy and axtion-adventah in the long run, melding them ghostbuster-style into toddlerbump artistic jello pudding...the road to bank account incline and creative decline in the careers of jackie chan and ben stiller in particular directly wind from the nefarious influence of hacks like landis. let's make a deal, brucie: if you toss out your tattered old vhs copies of landis fratcoms i'll toss out my stained old nudie pix of pia zadora...my task is much more challenging i reckon...
