Scaffolding Ads Will Ensure Sheds' Omnipresence

As a commercial real estate agent and a lifelong New York City Tenant,I see the scaffolding not only ugly but a major deterrant to renting space in any building that has it. There is no mention in this article of consequences of having scaffolding exist around a building for any length of time. It becomes a magnet for the homeless to reside under and gather, then become a guantlet to pass through. Imagine showing a client a space either in the building or retail level and walking through this maze of bodies and asking them to pay the premium price for having a business in Manhattan. If this bill passes City Hall is saying screw you to the people of NYC, screw you to the tenants of any of these buildings, screw you to the all the people that make their livelyhoods off filling these buildings with qualified tenants that do business in NYC, pay taxes, offer services this city, state, and country depend on. The city effectly have gotten on their knees to the all mighty landlords that fill their pockets with even more money, to keep their petty politcal power positions. Greed Greed and more Greed. Corrupt Corrupt and more Corrupt. Despicable and shame on the politicans that vote for this.
