Nuclear Abolition Has Surprising List of Backers

Submitted by Nana Sarfo, Oct 29, 2007 00:14

Mr. Ladeen seems to forget time and evolution changes circumstances. Who's to tell in decades or in a few of years the U.S. or even Israel will not be prone to use nuclear weapons? The truth of the matter is all nations whom possess, may possess or seek to possess nuclear weapons are a threat to humanity no matter how democratic, interdependent in terms of economics or just the edifices in question may seem. Prospectively thinking, denuclearization without deweaponization will not suffice. Both must be eradicated in order to deal truthfully with the real issue at hand: the failing and in some instances, a lack of a vibrant economic base that drives the ideological and political superstucture of many desperate states.
