Considering that most Americans appear to be opposed to the current war, your use of the term "anti-war types" wouldn't seem to mean much. If the Bush administration has accomplished nothing else -- a not indefensible premise in itself -- it has managed to unite Christian evangelicals, Hollywood do-gooders, soccer moms and Nascar dads, ponytailed 50- and 60-somethings and many other disparate microdemos in opposition to its ill-advised adventure in Iraq.
