Construction Worker Falling Deaths Rise

Submitted by Mike Buschette, Oct 30, 2007 17:11

I don't live in New York, but the ground still is hard when you hit it after falling from a distance, of three & one half floors. Somebody covered floor openings with winter insul. blankets. I was working on a parking ramp, on 12-20-06 about 2:30 in the afternoon, is when everything changed for me. I busted both legs really good. It took about 22 fasteners and 2 feet of titanium. I am now disabled at 50 years old, with legs that will never again work like they did prior to that day. Because of the lack of SAFTEY!! Ask yourself what your legs are worth to you? To lose what you had because of somebody else. The articule caught my eye.
