Governor To Bet Billions on SUNY

Submitted by A. S. Evans, Oct 31, 2007 11:08

I'd love to know more about the Gates High School where students can earn 2 years of college. Are there any in the NYC area? Meanwhile, it's lamentable that students spend 13 years in NYC public schools and STILL can't read and do math! Smaller class size and a curriculum that actually teaches computational math and the form of writing (grammar & spelling), and not just incessant testing, would go a long way to correct some of the current problems. Thank you for your coverage of the critical issues in NYC public school educaton. A. S. Evans
