As a British Doctor, resident in Abu Dhabi for the past 34 years, I can only underline how people from nearly every part of the world, from every ethnic and religious background live here in total harmony. Make no mistake there are non-rich not-quite-poor local citizens here, but they are a proud people, and very surprisingly broadminded. They believe in their own faith but are neither strident in it nor fanatical of it. It has been a privilege for me and my family to have been part of the development of this wonderful nation. It has been my personal privilege to witness three centuries of progress take place in just three decades.
