If the laws of the U.S. says waterboarding is illegal why can't Michael Mukasey voice a view that yes it is indeed illegal, if appointed the U.S. attorney general is he not supposed to be defending the laws of the United States? You want him to hold his current ground because of CIA officer and their superiors who might have broken this law. So now we should accept CIA officers and their superiors are above American law. So how darethe United States demand that law enforcement organizations in any other country to respect national, international or ethical laws. How can the U.S. label security apparatus in places like Iran and Gaza as law breakers and supporters of terrorism. On the international scene should an attrocity be bigger than the other. You cant demand that someone else should wipe his behind when your is obviously dirty too.
