I envy Elaine's opportunity to ride at the Claremont Stables. I just, today, returned from a vacation in NYC. I had always read about Claremont and went to visit it, only to find it boarded up! I stood and stared at the beautiful old building for such a long time, trying to imagine the sights and sounds that would have eminated from it with 45 horses there. I was so eager to see the indoor arena and the stalls on different floors and the ramps leading to each. I am heart broken that I have missed the chance to see it and to ride in Central Park. Isn't there someone who can be its benefactor and bring it back to life? Please!!! Yes, I live in Colorado with my 3 beautiful horses and ride our fantastic trails and open spaces but I have always dreamed of riding in Central Park. Please bring it back!
