World Bank Vows a Big Loan to Iran

Submitted by Scott Jones, Nov 5, 2007 19:06

First it was Wolfowitz, not another Bush/Neocon insider is stepping in to control the purse-strings of the World Bank. $900 to Iran, sure, why not? I'm sure that fits into the Plan For A New American Century very well, in the Byzantine fine print that magically turns a blind eye to the Saudi's involvement in 911 as well as their continued funding and support of international terrorism.

But petro-dollars rule the day and the Neocons know full well who pulls the strings in the real world. It is just amazing how many people still are willing to buy the "American Security" farce that has been perpetrated on us by this pack of international financiers.

Maybe the money buys us peace in the Middle East, and maybe that's enough to assuage our outdated notions of American ideals.
