U.N. Envoys' Feud Escalates Over Israeli 'Propaganda'

Submitted by Timothy Stinson, Nov 7, 2007 05:23

Dear Editor,

In Benny Avni's article "U.N. Envoys Feud Escalates Over Israeli 'Propaganda", he quoted a letter from Prime Minister Siniora of Lebanon that accused Syria of aiding the group Fatah Al-Islam, that last summer fought against the Lebanese army.

However, on CNN's Wolf Blitzer Seymour Hirsh stated that it was not Syria but the U.S who was indirectly funding Fatah Al-Islam.

Was this article written to provide Americans with information on this tragic event or additional Anti-Syrian propaganda generated by supporters of the U.S and Israel?
