This statement is incredibly flawed. Manning and Brady throw for the first down. If they only need 5 yards and not 12 that is what they do to move the chains. What good is ypp if every other toss is incomplete. The only key stat is W's and that means Ben is getting there but has a way to go to catch Manning, forget Brady.
