Scare Tactics Pervade the Michigan Media. I applaud Thomas Bray's article "Ignore anti-Prop 2 scare tactics" in what's become in the media a lopsided discussion of Proposal 2. The scare tactics of opponents don't conceal that they're arguing against the 14th Amendment, equal treatment before the law for all citizens. It should be noted that in addition to California and Washington, Texas and Florida have ended preferential treatment, but respectively through the courts and a governor's order. Civilization has also not ended in those states! Michigan needs to join the states seeking a new competitive future for all citizens.
