Downtown Brooklyn Finally Arrives

Submitted by Mitchell S. Janewicz, Nov 8, 2007 23:57

As someone who worked in downtown Brooklyn for many years ( Williamsburgh Savings Bank and Dime Savings Bank of NY, as well as attending school in the area (St. Francis College) I am thrilled to see the improvements made. When I started to work here (1968) there seemed to be almost no hope at all of the area getting better. All this has now changed.
Is all the development going to be without problems? No, but I think the good will outweigh the bad.
