This excellent article points out the importance of political action. Nothing will change until the populace becomes sufficiently alarmed and organized to demand change. If you are concerned about MRSA in your schools, gyms, and hospitals, write to your congressman and demand that more funds be expended on research. Otherewise, nothing will change except the numbers of dead, from MRSA which will increase.
