Second Acts

I was a delegate in 1979 in Detroit for the republican convention. I remember clearly the groans of pain when G H W Bush was picked as VP. He brought along Baker who, in my opinion did everthing he could, albeit subtly to undermine Ronaldus Magnus. I thought that then, and now we see the manifestaion of his treachery, for that is exactly what it is,,,he is a Poltron, nothing more, nothing less. An object example of why term limits and restrictions on lobbying are more urgent than ever. I wonder if he will live long enough to enjoy his"thirty pieces of silver"
