An Early Hanukkah Gift

Submitted by joel lewittes, Nov 13, 2007 14:22

I quite understand why my Rabbi, Haskel Lookstein, insularly views the confirmation of Judge (now General) Mukasey as a Chanukah gift. In truth, Michael Mukasey's appointment is a Thanksgiving gift to this nation since we should all be thankful that the security and safety of the American people has been placed in the hands of one who recognises the terrorist threat and is prepared and capable of engaging it. It is time that the "learned" members of the Judiciary Committee understand that the public is not mislead by their feigned obsession with waterboarding. These poseurs should refelect upon the reality of dangers facing us and contrast it with their petty politically motivated peeves.
