in response to reader comment: Knee Jerking at the Times: Nothing New

Submitted by Ian Lane, Nov 14, 2007 07:12

Six years ago, when the New York Sun first came out, I ended my subscription to the New York Times. Introduced to the Sun through the website Timeswatch, I found that the Times had lost all relevance to me as their political agenda began coloring their coverage of the news. Today my only contact with the Times is when friends or acquaintences send me articles or when specific articles are referred to in other publications. Since I left the Times and joined the Sun, I feel that I am better informed.

The Times ceased being relevant when they chose to put politics above news. I don't miss it at all.
