A New Veterans Group Aims To Bridge Generation Gap

Submitted by Marcus D Waller, Nov 16, 2007 00:03

I feel that the biggest problem is that there is very little information out there that lets veterans know about the different groups, I am a veteran and my wife is a DAV member and that is how I found out about the VMW, it is just like the Patriot Guard and the help they are providing there seems to be a need for a better way of getting information out to the veterans(example) while working in a best buy a handicapped veteran comes in , he is an amputee he did not know there was a DAV in the area and was fighting alone to get his disability trying to prove that his leg was missing, there should be a package given to all vets getting out with the different organizations in it
