At last, the emperor is acknowledged to be naked. Test prep, which begins on day 1, is rife with cheating and direct instruction for test-taking. The curriculums imposed, constructivist math and so-called balanced literacy, (whole language in phonics drag), are proven not to work with our children, and now the national tests unmask the myth of achievement. At last.
