Pakistan should have never be created - the only thing that binds this nation together is it' s religious identity and its pathological hatred for India.
It is no wonder that the military has always been accepted as the most dominant institution in Pakistani civil society - India was the bogey man that was used to justify a "strong military" and the need to develop nuclear weapons in the '80s even though the US and China were and still are very strong allies of Pakistan.
Musharaff has now shown what India has always known and had to deal with ( he was the architect behind the Kargil war in 99) - he is a double faced liar who is interested in nothing more than personal power and in making sure that the military will always be the dominant force in local politics and a key player in the international scene.
The US is still reaping the seeds that were sown in its support for Pakistan over the last 4 decades and especially during the Afghan jihad against the Soviets.
Charlie Wilson, look at what you have done to your country - every incoming US President now has to have an eagle eye on Pakistan - eternal vigilance is what you need against a country that is full of evil Islamic jihadists in every section of civil society and upper echelons of the military who are always seeking ways to hurt the US.
Its a crying shame that the biggest nuclear proliferator of our times, AQ Khan is not in Guantanamo where he should be water boarded till he spills the beans on every deal that he has done with rouge states like Iran, Syria etc
