Mr. Langbert has pretty much said it all. I have been disappointed by Mayor Bloomberg's tenure in office. I feel that quality of life issues need to be addressed, and promptly. The worst recebt years of NYC were when Dinkins was mayor and crime ran rampant. Imagine electing Kofi Annin mayor. Good Grief!
Maybe it was that endorsement by Rudy Giuliani that swayed New Yorkers and got Bloomberg elected. We all knew that a Democrat just wouldn't be up to it. Bloomberg changed parties in the same way he changes his top coat. There was no depth to his being a Republican. He was a tax and give away Democrat and still is. He is so insulated, financially, that he just doesn't look beyond his tinted limo windows to see what is going on and worse, what needs to be attended to.
