I honestly believe that love is blind...but where does it stop? Some of you comment that we should be able to love whomever we wish. Don't be too quick to make such a broad statement. You've opened a can of worms here. Is it ok for a father to love a daughter so much that it leads to a sexual relationship? I mean this is a free love right?? Or a 50 year old woman to fall in love with a 13 year old boy and begin a romantic relationship? I'm not disagreeing that you should be able to love whomever you wish. I'm simply stating that without boundaries love is used as an excuse for immoral incidents that occur. Once this cousin relationship gets out of hand and ends in disaster, is a incest charge placed or does marriage completely enialate that chance? Anyway, this is why I believe that it is taboo. Incest is too common and it is the first thought that unravels in the mind. You're relationship with someone that others see as taboo is YOUR business and it should be respected, but don't forget about the possible consequences in any circumstance.
