Bush Urged To Place Rules On $20B Saudi Arms Sale

Submitted by Carolyn, Nov 19, 2007 08:40

Let's not forget, we have about 200,000 troops in range of the Saudis, along with bases, foreign service personnel, and thousands of contractors in Iraq, Kuwait, the UAE, etc. All will be subject and possibly endangered by this equipment use.

It is a definite and real concern the Saudi government will change and be taken over by hostile jihadists.

Today, the Saudis play us day in and day out. They paid suicide bombers' families $25,000 encouraging attacks on Israel. They supported jihadists to go into Iraq to kill Americans and our Coalition partners via Syria, and reportedly, these Saudi jihadists constituted a majority of what is termed 'insurgents' in Iraq. They continue to fund Hamas in Gaza along with maintaining shortened supplies of oil, so that they can obtain the profits we are paying to them, which results in our underwriting our enemies. Their Human Rights record is one of the worst in the world as one report after another attests. They enslave women and children. They have neither Civil, nor Human Rights. A woman, who is a gang rape victim, is to receive 200 lashes as punishment. Their judiciary is Sharia Law that metes out primitive and brutal punishments. They refuse to permit Christians, Jews, and any religion outside of Islam to be practiced in fact. One can be arrested for having a New, or Old Testament.

They continually ignore our law against the Arab Boycott , despite having agreed to cease boycotting Israel, in order to be accepted into the WTO. Why should they be trustworthy in regards to these weapons that could harm our own troops and personnel, Israel, and Iraq?
No sooner were they finally accepted, then, they re-enforced their participation in applying the Boycott and insisting on others adhering to it.
In the meantime, the Saudis are not so subtly threatening our US currency and stability. Exactly how were the Saudis planning on paying for these arms and equipment? And are they so sure none of the parts are created, manufactured , assembled, and distributed by Jews?

The King is coercing Israel to accept its Peace Plan, in toto, which is national suicide for Israel to do so, and Rice is pushing one directive unto Israel after another to achieve the Saudi goals , tossing out Israel's sovereignty and secure and defensible borders. It is absurd in the extreme, to be kind about it, even to consider selling such arms to the Saudis. Looking at just the above facts, one cannot help but wonder, are we out of our minds? There are reports we are determining in Washington how to live in a world in which Iran has the nuclear bomb. In addition, Rice and Gates are insisting Israel does not take any military action against Iran as though Israel is the 51st state, as though we had such a right to tell another country not to defend itself — again — as though SIX million more Jews can be burned to ashes, so why should we place ourselves and our troops and Israel in greater danger by supplying the Saudis? They are TOTALLY untrustworthy . The President and the United States look completely self-destructive. Well, if Rice, Baker, Bush, Gates, et.al. want to perish by suicide, let them do it on their own time. They have taken vows to protect and defend the Constitution - the country and its people. It is pure insanity to continue to accommodate our enemies. This is not a relative issue. We are fed up with it. That's REALITY any way one can view it.

In order to believe they will not abuse our conditions the following must be proven over time. First, they should have to cease enforcing the Arab Boycott — as promised, while IMMEDIATELY pulling out their jihadists from Iraq and cease paying Iraqis and others to kill and undermine our troops — and the Iraqis for that matter. Stop funding the Hamas. Stop funding and supplying the seditious hate curricula in the schools they are permitted to fund here and in Europe- and the mosques. Next, lower oil prices back to $25-27.00 per barrel. Insist women are equal, by the West's definition — not Sharia's. Abuse of women and children must cease. Non-Muslim's must, also, be able to have their Bibles and to practice openly. Israel is to be accepted , meaning the Saudis enter into compliance with International Laws and UN Resolutions 242, etc., and the anti-Semitic Hate campaign worldwide stopped. Prisoners' rights must be instituted and threats to embassy personnel stopped. It must, also, drop the intimidation against our currency.

If the Saudis need intelligence, then, we can supply it on a need to know basis.

Once every one of these conditions are satisfactorily met over time, then, supplying them with these weapons can be considered.
