The Clinton-Obama-Bush Doctrine

While I am generally in favor of some kind of term limits, Clearly the American Public of WW2 Days were willing to give an ailing president a FOURTH term in office because of the war.

Now only Senators and Congressmen and Supreme Court Justices have that privilege, with one former President trying to use the back door. Governors in some states have restrictions on multiple terms.

53 million voted for Bush in 2004. Yet akin to the 2000 election, the election was contested to stall the recognition of President Bush's win and policy stand. It's too bad that the public disapproved of selling firewater to native Americans, while the casinos continue to boom. And Congressmen (reps and Sens) sowing opposition to the struggle in IRAQ and Afghanistan, include those with significant industries that do a lot of work for the military ... prolonging the war?

I am a Bush fan and proud of it. You haven't heard as much about his foreign policy weakness lately as countries in Europe are recognizing the wisdom of our duly elected leader.
